Get ready to lace up your sneakers and turn your daily walk into something incredible.

Let’s join us for a community event and bring more green to the planet. Together, we can turn our footsteps into a powerful force for change. Let's walk, plant, and unite like never before!

This event is a part of the Sạch Sành Sanh (Clean, Clever, Continuity) campaign from RMIT Vietnam Alumni Network.

Event details

From 24 June – 14 July 2024, all RMIT alumni, staff, and students are encouraged to join Walking to Plant Trees, in which they will track their daily steps via the Uprace app.

The total walking distance from all participants in 3 weeks will be exchanged into funds for reforestation efforts. For every 10km accumulated, we will plant one tree at the Binh Chau Phuoc Buu Nature Reserve (up to 1,000 trees).

Participants (with minimum 1km of walk record) will get an online certificate after the event.

How to join

Step 1: Gear up with the ultimate weapon: your smartphone! Download the UPRACE app and create an account. The name you register for will be used on the digital certificate you receive at the end of the event.

Step 2: Go to this page, or go to the Community/Cộng Đồng tab and search for “RMIT Alumni Walking to Plant Trees 2024” to join.
